The differences between XT and its predecessor are not that big though, so if you already have a Corsair K95 RGB Platinum, you don’t necessarily need to upgrade your keyboard. The USB Pass-through port provides convenient access to an additional USB port for your mouse or headset. The company’s iCue software is a robust (if a bit clunky) program that lets you do everything from control the lighting (manually, or via pre-installed or downloadable presets), coordinate your lighting with other compatible Corsair devices, creating macros and manage onboard storage. Corsair has been one of the leading forces in the growth of mechanical keyboards in the last five years, steadily improving, upgrading, and expanding its range and occasionally being the first to market with certain features or new switches. The unit of the K95 we tested has linear Cherry MX Speed switches, while the K70 has Cherry MX Brown switches, but you can get each keyboard in different switches. Between that and some other neat features of the Stream Deck hardware, such as LCD buttons that you can customize with images and GIFs, I'd say that the K95 XT's software-based Stream Deck support is a great help for new players looking to experiment with pro tools or veteran players seeking a few extra streaming keys, but doesn't quite achieve parity with the actual Elgato hardware (or another discrete video mixer).USB Pass-Through: Provides convenient access to an additional USB device such as a mouse or headset.

It's a full-size, 104-key device, with an extra six dedicated macro keys at the left edge bringing the total number of keys to 110. The Ducky Shine 7 and the Corsair K95 PLATINUM have similar overall performance, but they offer very different features.
